Assignment: a friction-free life
Yes, we live in an extroverted world.
And for introverts, that can create unnecessary friction.
Unspoken rules. Noisy expectations. Social situations that drain more than they give back.
Not because you’re doing anything wrong — but because the system isn’t designed with you in mind.
Knowledge changes that.
When you understand who you are and how the social world works, you can stop pushing against resistance and start using the system to your advantage.
Whether you want to feel calmer inside, more confident in who you are, or more in control in social situations, you’ll find a solution here.
Hi, I’m Anna.
I’m an introvert — and an ethnographer by training.
For years, I lived and worked overseas across multiple cultures, observing how easy or difficult everyday life could be.
I began to see that much of Western life — its norms, hierarchies, rituals, and traditions — has been shaped by extroverts. Friction arises when people are expected to understand these invisible rules without them ever being taught.
Through my work with world-leading business schools, I’ve seen how a small amount of the right knowledge can dramatically reduce that friction for introverts.
That’s why I created Quiet Advantage: to share practical tools that help you understand yourself and the environment you’re operating in, so you can remove unnecessary friction and move through life with greater ease.
